Welcome to our luxury self-catering cottages.  All three barns have hand crafted fully fitted kitchens with granite work surfaces and high quality German appliances. There are even Nespresso coffee machines and high end toiletries.  A list of what we provide can be found here. Supermarket deliveries are easy but you must be in to receive them. 

There is a village shop within walking distance and supermarkets in nearby Ware and Hertford. Pearce's Farm Shop and Cafe is an award winning destination for foodies and hungry holiday makers only a few miles away.  We have a number of great gastropubs in the area as well as some welcoming tea rooms.  If you want to explore local food and drink take a look here for some inspiration.

There is a complementary on site laundry with washing machine and dryer and an extra chest freezer should you order from Brookfield Farm, whose Aberdeen Angus cows graze our land. 

Each barn has a wood burning stove and starter logs and fire lighters.  We also provide a BBQ for each property but ask that you supply your own charcoal.

Although each barn is completely self contained, all three can be taken for a group visit. Please discuss arrangements with us to make sure your needs are met and we can even suggest caterers.  

Lordship's Barns are set around the original farmyard of Lordship's Farm. The yard has been landscaped and is now mainly grass and flower beds. Cars are allowed to drop off guests but parking is off site in our Grain Barn to protect the unspoilt views from the properties.  Our commitment to conserving the beauty of the properties and surrounding countryside can be seen in the loving restoration of the Barns combining contemporary style with original features.  Underfloor central heating and hot water are powered by our eco friendly biomass boiler. Come and enjoy a relaxing and luxurious self catering holiday.
